It is very important to us that all visitors to our website feel comfortable and secure during their visit. For this reason, protection of your personal data is of the utmost importance to us.
Of course, when collecting, processing and using your personal data, we will strictly comply with the legal rules under the German Federal Data Protection Act ([German acronym:] BDSG) and the Telemedia Act ([German acronym:] TMG).
We process personal data when filling orders for our customers. Where there is a well-founded interest in doing so, we may in certain circumstances procure credit information from credit reporting agencies for our own credit checks.
What do we do with your personal data?
We process and store personal data in connection with our performance of contracts, for potential later warranty or guarantee cases.
Where there is a well-founded interest, and where the further statutory prerequisites are met, we may in certain cases procure credit information from credit reporting agencies (e.g. SCHUFA) for purposes of credit checks. To this end, we will forward the personal data required for purposes of a credit check to the aforementioned credit agencies, and will use the information we receive regarding the statistical likelihood of a payment default to make a balanced decision on whether to enter into, perform and/or terminate contract relations. The credit report may contain probability values (scores) and is calculated on the basis of scientifically recognised mathematical/statistical processes, and the calculation data may include such things as address data. Your protectable interests will be taken into account in accordance with law. You may object at any time to such checks as to the future, but we will then only be able to offer you limited payment options as a result.
Transmission of data to third parties
In connection with our processing of orders, the necessary data will be forwarded to the service providers engaged by us (e.g. freight forwarders, logistics companies, payment intermediaries). The data forwarded to third parties will be used by those third parties solely to perform the duties or tasks with which they are charged. We will only transmit data to state entities or public authorities where mandatory legal rules require this.
Use for purposes of marketing
We would point out that we will use your data for advertising and marketing purposes (and may do so repeatedly) without your separate express consent to the extent permitted by law. Your acceptance of this advice does not constitute your consent to the use of your data for advertising purposes. If we receive your email address in connection with the sale of goods, we will use that email address within the scope of what the law permits in order to advertise own, similar products. However, you may also object at any time to all use of your details for advertising purposes without incurring costs other than the transmission costs under the base tariffs.
In the commercial sector, we will also use telephone numbers for advertising purposes based on presumed consent (you may find further information under newsletters, forms, customer accounts, etc.).
Newsletters, forms, customer accounts etc.
The option exists to enter personal data (e.g. email addresses, names, addresses) such as for registration (customer account) to give feedback and in certain cases to subscribe to newsletters. It is expressly noted that the user’s use of the service options and services offered is voluntary.
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletters, then, in addition to your email address, we will require your confirmation that you are the owner of the email address indicated and that you consent to receiving our newsletter. These data will only be collected for purposes of forwarding our newsletter to you and documenting our rights in respect of this. There will be no disclosure of such data to third parties. You may cancel your subscription to our newsletter and revoke your consent to our storage of your data at any time.
If you open a personal customer account, we will store your email address and your password for identification purposes as well as the address data provided by you so that you will not have to input that data again when you place repeat orders. In addition, you have the option of accessing the items ordered by you via the page “My Account”/ “Order History”.

When customers visit beyerdynamic’s website, the website automatically collects general information for later statistical analysis.
The information collected is of a general and technical kind, and it does not permit any inferences to be drawn regarding your identity. Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are saved on your computer and enable analysis of the use of a website. Information on your use of this website generated by this cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States and saved there. However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated within member states of the European Union or in other member states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transmitted to Google servers in the United States and truncated there. Upon instructions of the operator of this website, Google will use that information to evaluate your use of the website in order to compile reports on website activities and to provide additional services related to website use and internet use to the operator of the website. The IP address transmitted by Google Analytics from your browser will not be associated with other data from Google. With your consent, we use the “custom audience pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”).
Our use of the “custom audience pixel” enables us to track the actions of users when they are redirected to the website of an advertiser after clicking on a Facebook ad.
This process provides an analysis of the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and may help to optimise future advertising campaigns.
The data collected are anonymous to us, and thus do not permit us to draw any inferences regarding the identity of the users. However, Facebook stores and processes the data so that it is possible for Facebook to associate the data with the respective user profile and Facebook is able to use the data for its own advertising purposes in line with Facebook’s data use guidelines.
You may enable Facebook and its advertising partners to display ads both within and outside Facebook. In addition, a cookie may be stored on your computer for these purposes.
Consent to the use of custom audience pixels may only be given by users who are older than 13. If you are younger, we would ask that you ask your parent or guardian for permission.
We have set up technical and organisational security precautions to protect data specifically against loss, manipulation or unauthorised access. We regularly adapt our security measures to take account of ongoing technical developments.

In addition, you may object to such use if we have used your data within the scope of what is permitted by law, for example, for postal marketing campaigns. Pursuant to sec. 15 (3), sec. 13 (1) TMG, you have a right of objection to the creation of user profiles involving the use of pseudonyms.
